On to day three! On this day I headed towards Wichita and then Topeka before returning to KC.

The day starts off again on I-435.

I make my way towards Wichita.

I-35/US 169/US 50/US 56 shields.

Going to follow I-35 for a little while.

Another attempt at I-35/US 50/US 56 shields. I don't think I ever fully succeeded at this.

A road scene.

A quick visit to KS 33 for a county.

Then back to I-35. Have to get those counties in, you know!

Now we're going to break off and leave I-35 behind.

And follow US 50.

And there's a US 50 shield for ya!

Detouring US 77.

Here's a picture for an idea of what the area looks like.

Detour ends.

And we see some countryside. Then I found US 77.

A lone US 77 shield.

I ran into a little bit of construction. I was lucky not to be held up by it for long.

Here is where I leave US 77 in El Dorado where I take KS 254 towards Wichita.

And I have a shield to prove it! A picture of one at least.

Getting closer to the city.

I took I-135 once I discovered there's not too much in Wichita. This is a picture of I-135/US 81/KS 15 shields.
