London
New Year's 2000

Looking up at King Henry VIII's palace.

Inside the palace they had replicas of what it may have looked like when people lived in the palace. They even had wax people that looked frighteningly real.

One of the huge fireplaces in the palace.

And now a view from outside the palace.

Looking down the pathway to the palace.

One more view.

No visit to London would be complete without seeing the Tower Bridge!

The ravens at Tower of London.

Abbey Road Studios!

From on top of St. Paul's Cathedral.

Another angle from on top of the cathedral.

Look at the city!

Looks like they were doing some construction while we were there.

Big Ben, the famous clock of London.

Westminster Abbey. I think this was one of my favorite places to visit.

I unfortunately do not remember the name of this castle. What I do remember is that we had to travel farthest to get to it.

More wax people inside the castle.

Wax man with a longbow.

Some of these wax people looked very real.

I guess even dogs in that time drank from the toilet.

The king and his knights.

Some medievil medicinal tools.

Peacocks were wandering all over the courtyard here.

Looking down on the castle from one of the turrets.

Again from the turrets.

A turret like that.

Of course I had to put my father in the stocks!

This is in Stratford Upon Avon. This is where Shakespeare was from and many of the buildings still have the original roofing from that time.

A look down the more modern street.

The Old Thatch Tavern is in the back there.
