London
New Year's 2000

When we entered the year 2000 I was in London, England with my high school bands to play in the Millennium Day Parade and some other concerts. I finally got around to scanning the pictures and have put them here. It was a ten day trip and we saw many different things in the area.

This is the King's Cross underground station.

Inside the King's Cross station.

From my room looking out on the streets of London.

Another angle from my room.

Royal Albert Hall.

The Prince Albert Memorial.

Another angle of the memorial.

And yet one more angle.

Statues in front of the memorial.

And one more.

A cathedral.

We got to see the changing of the guard outside of Buckingham Palace.

A statue outside of the palace.

Another angle of the statue.

The statue for a final time.

A better view of Buckingham Palace.

The palace once more.

Looking down the road from Buckingham Palace.

The put a good amount of space between the fence and the palace.

The Thames River and the London Eye.

The Thames River and Parliament behind the bridge.

Parliament.

Parliament and the Thames once more.

The residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury.

The London Eye. A ferris wheel they built for the new year.

St. Paul's Cathedral.
A stutue outside of the cathedral. At one time I knew what all these statues were. I guess it's been too long.

Looking up at the cathedral. When you're up at the top there you can stand on one side and hear what other people say on the other side. We tested it.

These are the Mews.

The cathedral again.

A look down the street.

The Tower of London. They value their ravens greatly here.

This is King Henry VIII's palace.
