I make the trip from Chicago to Miami and back again frequently it seems. But each time I try to take a different route to see some new things, and of course get some counties. Enjoy the pictures of this trip!

Day One: August 7, 2007

The trip starts off on I-57.	Here I-80 goes off to the west and I follow I-57 south towards Memphis.	At this exit I-80 goes to the east.
The exit for US 30 is coming up in half a mile now.	Coming up to the exit for US 30 heading east...	And there it is.
And the exit for US 30 heading west.	And now the exit for US 45 and US 52.	The open road.
Exit to US 136.	I-57 shield.	I-74 junction coming up.
More I-74.	I-74 to the East.	Another I-57 shield.
I-72 to the West this time.	US 36 this way!	I like the shadows in this picture.

If only it wasn't so dusty you could see that this was where we come up to I-70.	Tried again, but that truck got in the way.	The Effingham exits.
